The Department of Psychology at the University of Arizona is accepting applications for an Adjunct Instructor position to teach undergraduate Professional Development Psychology courses. Position is required to begin teaching in the spring 2021 semester (Jan 2021) with two courses load (.40 FTE)

The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate classes in psychology, including but not limited to preparation for Graduate programs and Career Exploration & professional Development.Candidates must have prior experience teaching undergraduate courses in these fields and be capable of teaching for both in-person and online delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Dutiesand Responsibilities:

  • Instruct 1-2 courses (immediate need is to teach PSY 396C and PSY397A)
  • Supervise graduate teaching assistants
  • Maintain grade book on D2L and office hours for students
  • Administer and grade assignments and exams
  • Attend instructionalmeetings, training and orientation
  • Other duties as assignedby the Department Head

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Psychology, Education or Counseling
  • 2 years teaching experience and teaching related dutiesexperience (grading, lesson planning and course management)
