Job Summary

Student Museum Assistant will help organize and prepare archaeological and anthropological collections to be moved from the museum prior to renovations planned for the collections facility. Duties include records management to assist with updating computer databases, packaging collections, and moving boxes and museum objects.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Computer databases such as MS Access and ArcGIS; knowledge of archaeology; organizational skills and ability to work independently

Graduate or advanced undergraduate student in Anthropology specializing in archaeology or museum collections management
