The Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Tulane University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work on SARS-CoV-2 wastewater surveillance and develop novel detection methods for SARS-CoV-2 testing in environmental samples. Initial appointment will be made for a period of two years, with a possibility of extension for one additional year based on performance and availability of funding. Interested candidates should submit a CV with contact information for three references and a two-page statement of research.

  • Ability to conduct independent research
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  •  Ability to mentor undergraduate and graduate students
  •  Knowledge of grant writing and project reports
