The Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program invite applicants for their non-tenure-track teaching position. As an instructor, the successful applicant will instruct WGS 391.1: Latinx Popular Culture.

A strong and viable Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program is essential to the university's on-going mission of providing a quality undergraduate and graduate education. The Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program minor and graduate certificate programs prepare students to think, act, and write critically about contemporary issues from a variety of interdisciplinary and multicultural lenses. WGS students are encouraged to take leadership roles in their communities using these new insights and skills.

Required Qualifications

1. Doctorate (or equivalent terminal degree in the candidate's field) is strongly preferred at the time of hire, but ABDs will be considered.
2. Candidate should have at least one year of teaching experience.
3. For teaching positions, state law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.
