The Communication, Media & Journalism Department of the University of North Georgia invites applications for one-semester appointment as a Limited-term FAculty of Film & Digital Media. The department seeks candidates qualified to teach production, screenwriting, and Film Appreciation.
The department offers a Bachelor of Science in Film & Digital Media and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, as well as associate pathways toward these degree programs, and its faculty members are committed to being both effective faculty members and active content creators.

- Teaching Writing for Media, Production I, Production II, and Film Appreciation
- Supporting student productions outside the classroom
- Communicating with departmental colleagues regarding choice of texts, common assignments, and standardized rubrics and grading.
- Reporting grades in a timely manner.
- Following all guidelines in the Faculty Handbook for part-time faculty.
- A Master of Fine Arts in film, media, communication or a related field, or the equivalent in professional experience is required.
