Job Purpose:
To staff a variety of courses each semester in the field of Political Science. Adjunct faculty may instruct one or more courses or labs on campus each semester as needed basis.


Essential Duties:
Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.

Additional Skills Required:


Minimum Education Requirements:
Master’s degree in Political Science or related majors.

Preferred Education:
ABD or PhD in Political Science or related majors.

Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
Previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.

Special Instructions to Applicants:
Complete applications are to include a cover letter and CV. This is a pooled position from which Adjunct/Affiliates will be hired. This pooled position will serve as an electronic file and replace receiving paper CVs. As openings occur, we will draw candidates from this pool until May 2021. Applicants will need to re-apply after June 1, 2021 to be considered for the next academic year.
