Job Purpose:
To staff a variety of courses each semester in the fields of sociology, including Introduction to Sociology and Social Problems.

Adjunct faculty may instruct one or more courses each semester as needed.


Essential Duties:
Adjunct/affiliate faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.

Additional Skills Required:


Minimum Education Requirements:
Master’s Degree in criminal justice, criminology or sociology, or related majors.

Preferred Education:
ABD or PhD in criminal justice, criminology, sociology.

Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
Previous teaching experience and willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
