Physical Therapy

Job Purpose:
The University of Scranton's Department of Physical Therapy has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester in the field of Physical Therapy. Adjunct faculty may instruct one or more courses or labs each semester as needed.


Essential Duties:
Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.

Additional Skills Required:


Minimum Education Requirements:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or an earned academic doctorate (e.g., PhD, EdD) in a field relevant to physical therapy

Preferred Education:


Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
Licensed physical therapist

Preferred Qualifications:
A proven history of work experience in the field; previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.

Special Instructions to Applicants:

This pooled position will serve as an electronic file and replace receiving paper CVs. As openings occur, we will draw candidates from this pool until May 2021.
