Job Purpose:
The University of Scranton Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in psychology beginning in August 2021. This search is part of a broader cluster hiring approach, which will contribute to the development of Black Studies at the University.


Essential Duties:
Teaching abnormal psychology, psychological testing, and a course in their area of expertise.

Additional Skills Required:


Minimum Education Requirements:
Applicants should have a PhD, PsyD, or ABD in psychology; the specialty area is open but the successful applicant will teach abnormal psychology or psychological testing plus a course in their area of expertise. Clinical, counseling, and school psychologists must have received their doctorate from an APA-accredited program and completed an APA-accredited internship. The Department can furnish supervision toward psychology licensure, if desired.
