Responsible for directing staff and will provide guidance and administrative direction involved with running the School of Theatre's operations, ensuring that the organization and its activities are in accordance with the mission of the department and follow university policies. Supervises Associate Director and Program Manager positions at the School of Theatre.

Directs the planning and coordination of School of Theatre productions, ticket office operations and marketing campaigns to align with academic, development, and outreach initiatives. Works with Patrons Association leadership to plan and execute all organizations meetings and events. Responsible for oversight of the planning and execution of special projects, community engagement, and donor events that support the mission and programs of the School of Theatre. This includes but is not limited to Senior Showcases, Music Theatre Intensives, Benefit Concerts, and School of Theatre opening nights.

Oversees alumni relations for the School of Theatre including planning of activities and events that engage alumni throughout the country.Responsible for the planning and execution of all budget and organizational adjustments within the School of Theatre, including reductions in budget allocations, creation or abolishment of positions, and reclassification or realignment of staff duties. Responsible for the oversight of fiscal and administrative operations within the FSU Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training located in Sarasota, FL. Reviews and approves all policy and procedural changes and adjustments to ensure compliance with Federal, State and University regulations. Works with Conservatory Director to maintain and foster positive relationships with donors and outside constituents. Director of the Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory reports directly to this position.

Works with Chair to develop strategic goals and initiatives for curriculum, donor relations and auxiliary operations for the School of Theatre. Serves as a liaison for School of Theatre with senior administrative officials within the University and represents the Chair in his absence in meetings and events. Oversees and advises operations and activities related to student services and advising for the School of Theatre. This includes but is not limited to events such as orientation, tours, and student sponsored events relating to the School of Theatre. Assesses current and future curriculum needs and devises proposals for adjustments to better align with department, college, and University initiatives and strategic outcomes.Qualifications Master's degree and five years of experience related to administrative services; or a Bachelor's degree and seven years of related experience. Two years of experience must be in a supervisory role

Demonstrated application of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience with development and implementation of policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.

Skill in providing leadership and direction in programmatic, budgetary, and operational functions.
