Job Description:

The OPS lab assistant will provide assistance in performing veterinary viral and immunological assays, hematological analysis, data inputting, and assist in restraining animals (cats and mice) for bleeding. We will train all technical procedures and animal handling. Must complete an online training program on working with IACUC and pass the course assessment. In summary, the job entails 85% laboratory work and 15% animal work.

Expected Salary:

$14.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, and Power Point
- High School Diploma
- Must not have feline OR rodent allergies
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
