Job Description

The Coordinator of Accommodated Testing is primarily assigned to the Academic Testing for Students with Disabilities (ATSD) office which falls under the Testing, Evaluation, and Measurement Center (TEMC). This position’s main responsibility is to coordinate academic testing for student clients by modifying, printing, and verifying assessments at ATSD to meet Office of Disability Services (ODS) approved accommodations. The Coordinator’s duties also include the following: monitoring ATSD student proctors and Graduate Assistants; meeting with newly registered ODS students; creating and conducting proctor training; providing technical support by fixing issues or malfunctions with assistive technology; and, providing regular support as assigned for other TEMC offices, including the Testing Lab.

Job Duties

1.Coordinate the administration of
academic tests by modifying, printing,
and verifying assessments to meet the
testing accommodation needs of Texas
State students. Proctor exams as
needed.
2.Train, monitor, and support student
workers and Graduate Assistants.
Supervise student employees as
needed.
3.Provide direct support to the ATSD
Supervisor.
4.Meet with newly registered ODS
students with testing accommodations.
5.Correspond with faculty, students, and
Texas State department offices.
6.Provide trouble-shooting support for
issues or malfunctions with assistive
technology.
7.As assigned, support other TEMC
offices, including the Testing Lab.
8.Some evening and weekend work
required.
9.Perform other duties as assigned
