The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) at the University of South Carolina is seeking applicants for an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will serve as the face of the ODEI office greeting visitors and providing prompt service in a professional and courteous manner. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
oAnswer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously and route calls appropriately.
oAnswer inquiries about ODEI from visitors or callers, and/or route inquiries to appropriate office for answers.
oCoordinate calendar appointments and meetings for ODEI staff. Notify ODEI staff of their visitor arrival and the location of their meeting.
oManage schedule for conference room.
oGreeting and directing visitors to the correct office.


Associates degree and 2 years of administrative/clerical experience or high school diploma and 4 years administrative/clerical experience.
Highly prefer candidates with prior administrative/clerical experience at the University of South Carolina.
