Normal work schedule is 7:15 am – 3:45 Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Some variation may be necessary during school breaks and summer months.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.

Performs paraprofessional library work relating to maintenance of circulation files. Provide circulation services to library users, including charging, discharging and searching for library materials. Verify authorized users of the library, mail overdue notices and assist in the collection of overdue materials.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

High school diploma and 2 years library experience. A valid driver’s license is required.

Preferred QualificationsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge of clerical operations, processes, techniques and procedures. Knowledge of modern library organization, research methodology, and procedures. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, completeness and thoroughness in work. Ability to follow systematic methods of work. Ability to assist in the supervision of others.
