Collaborate with multidisciplinary research team on research projects utilizing technology, no-contact electronic data collection, and interactive online weight management interventions.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Must possess a Master’s degree in exercise science or related field and have experience in behavioral interventions for weight management.

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D in exercise science or related fiedl and experience with human subjects research protocols, excellent communication and organization skills, and experience with utilizing technology to promote healthy behaviors. Ability to work in a team and independently. Ability to develop e-learning modules, troubleshoot technological issues with study website and learning management system.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Ensure proper implementation of research following all protocols, and proper ethical and related guidelines. Communicate effectively with research team. Demonstrate excellent writing and organizational skills. Work as part of a team and independently. Ensure timely completion of all required CITI and Good Clinical Practice training. Articulate ideas and demonstrate a willingness to bring creative and new ideas to the team. Ability to complete basic data reduction and statistical analyses using SAS, SPSS or related programs. Ability to utilize Endnote, Excel, REDCap and Articulate software.
