Position Description:
As Chief Financial Officer of the School of Arts and Architecture provide professional support for a complex array of services and resources to schools departments. The School comprises four academic and three public arts departments with budgets totaling in excess of $65 million from multiple fund sources--state, contracts and grants, sales/services, and gifts and endowments. Major duties include oversight of financial performance of the school; participation in strategic planning and implementation; preparation of financial forecasts and plans; oversight of development and preparation of school-wide annual budget; interpretation and application of budgetary policies and procedures; implementation of and compliance with controls initiatives; creation and interpretation of analytical studies on school resources to maximize human and financial resources; involvement and engagement with future University financial initiatives, including new budget model, ASCEND financial system, and related component systems.
