The Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA currently has an opening for a faculty member to join the Laboratory of Molecular Neuroimaging, Directed by Dr. Edythe London. We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful, and dedicated researcher with proven expertise in the use of neuroimaging to improve addiction treatments, with a special focus on women's health and sex differences. The selected candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program and to collaborate with investigators throughout the university, working on problems of addiction and treatments, including brain stimulation techniques. Commitment to research and teaching is required.

The position requires a Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or closely related field and demonstrated research excellence in the study of neuroendocrine involvement in brain function and/or structure and links to behavior, experience in addiction research, and a commitment to research and teaching with the express goal of mentoring and advising of trainees from underrepresented and underserved populations. A proven trackrecord of extramural funding, including support from the National Institutes of Health, is desirable.

The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and consistent with the UCLA Professional series salary scales.
