The Department of Surgeryat the University of Toledo Medical Center invites applications for thefull-time position as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of the Divisionof Cardiothoracic Surgery. Candidates should be board certified by the AmericanBoard of Thoracic Surgery and eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
Qualifiedcandidates will have credentials and experience at the level of an AssistantProfessor or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will be asurgeon-educator or surgeon-scientist with a well established history ofacademic commitment and mentorship. He/She will promote education and researchcollaborations across the institution and community. Academic activities include teaching ofmedical students, residents and fellows; research; and related service duties.There are great opportunities for innovative, educational, as well as,translational or basic research at The University of Toledo.
