This position is offered to a physician who desires to develop a career combining patient care, education, and clinical research. The successful candidate will hold an MD or MD/PhD degree, completed an accredited ophthalmology residency, completed an approved clinical fellowship and be board certified/eligible in ophthalmology. The successful candidate will have completed at least 4 years of postgraduate clinical training in a discipline relevant to ophthalmology. The candidate will be expected to develop a clinical practice in a sub specialty relevant to his/her area of training, with focus on developing innovative clinical research. The candidate will be active in the education of medical students, resident physicians and clinical sub specialty fellows.
Applicant must have an M.D. degree with completed ophthalmic residency and minimum of one year fellowship training in a U. S. accredited Hospital. Board certified or eligible. Florida medical license required.
