Anatomy and Physiology Adjunct Faculty

Department of Biological Sciences School of Natural Sciences

The Department of Biological Sciences is currently seeking to hire adjunct faculty to fill curricular needs in the area of human anatomy and physiology. Appointments are on a part-time basis and on a semester-by-semester basis. Positions are renewable, contingent upon need, and performance.

Responsibilities

Teach one or more sections of Anatomy & Physiology (lecture and lab) and Human Anatomy (lecture or lab). Develop an engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate pedagogy. Meet professional standards for faculty in accordance with college policies and procedures. Adjunct instructors must be available for one office hour per week per course taught.

Qualifications
  • Ph. D. or Master's degree (with 18 graduate hours in Biology) in Biology, Anatomy, or Physiology.
  • Demonstrated potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Successful candidates must complete an employment and/or criminal background check.
