General Summary of Position:

The Project Manager position is a full time, one-year position with the possibility of renewal based on continued funding and job performance. Under the supervision of the PI, the Project Manager will lead and manage the work of the multisite evaluation and technical support center to improve health outcomes for Black Women with HIV. The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the center and maintain relationships and communication with project team members (UML Staff, subcontractors and consultants), the 12 participating demonstration sites and HRSA project officers. The Project Manager will be responsible for supervising interns and research assistants. The Project Manager has three core responsibilities: 1) project management 2) design and implementation of evaluation and data management activities, and 3) development and implementation with dissemination of project activities.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Education:

  • Master’s degree in public health, psychology, sociology or related field

Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience with managing programs and/or research projects preferably in women’s health and/or HIV

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation and facilitation.
    Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with community and clinic administrators and community members
