JOB SUMMARY:

This person in this position will plan, coordinate, develop and integrate educational content into the Center's online learning platform, educateworkforce.com. This person will also support professional development activities, conferences, new initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

30% - Essential - Plan course curriculum structure based on defined processes or proven methodologies. This includes establishing comprehensive objectives, course outlines, and advice for integrating digital technologies (VR, video lectures, interactive assessments, instructional videos) to achieve desired learning outcomes.

30% - Essential - Coordinate with appropriate team members and partners to compile content for course development based on deliverables for courseware; Compile, edit, and present content to maximize learning outcomes; Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to vet and refine content integrity.

20% - Essential - Manage a system of quality control measures for maintaining and producing high quality educational material; Ensure the implementation of UDL principles and scaffolding are consistent; Maintain content integrity throughout the development process.

20% - Essential - Support professional development activities, conferences and new initiatives; Plan and conduct professional development and training sessions (face-to-face, online workshops, presentations, etc...; Represent/support CUCWD at meetings, seminars, webinars and conferences as needed; Support online educational material development and integration of visualization tools

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education Master's Degree in Education or Another Directly Related Field
Work Experience 1+ Years

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Work Experience 3+ Years in Relevant Field

RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB KNOWLEDGE
Fundamental Job Knowledge - Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as Lead - Acts as a Lead by guiding the work of others who perform essentially the same work.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

5% - Overnight Travel

WORK SCHEDULE:

Standard Hrs: 37.5; Band: 06 ($ 52,000.00 - $ 60,000.00)
