Job Summary The Department of Academic Outreach is seeking a part-time front desk clerical assistant for our Clayton State University-Fayette (Peachtree City) location. The candidate will be responsible for responding to daily student inquiries, visitors, phone calls, and routine office upkeep of supplies. The candidate should also be able to open and/or close the site when scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Front desk coverage, answer phone calls, and walk-in inquiries (15%)
• Assist faculty and students with copying, scanning, and proctoring of exams. (10%)
• Assist students with removing holds, how to register for classes, and register for orientation (5%)
• Restock classroom materials, preparation of blackboards (5%)
• Serve as academic support (15%)
• Monitor Dual Enrollment inquiries (15%)
• Assist with informing faculty of room assignment (5%)
• Assist students with completing the admissions process (10%)
• Work evenings (10%)
Open and close facility/site (10%)

Required Qualifications

• Some college
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excel and word experience
• Banner
• Strong data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor degree
• 1-2 years of admissions experience
• 2-3 years of Banner experience
