EPSS/UCLA seeks an Assistant Researcher. The position will support research of the Earth's magnetotail and solar wind current sheets with the focus on observationally motivated (e.g. THEMIS, ARTEMIS, MMS) numerical simulations of current sheet structure and stability. Therefore the incumbent is expected to demonstrate experience with numerical simulations (PIC, hybrid) and spacecraft data analysis.

PhD in physics or a related field is required. Work is to be carried out in collaboration with Dr. Anton Artemyev, Dr. San Lu, Dr. Andrei Runov and Prof. Vassilis Angelopoulos.
