  • Position Description:

    The Director of HR Technology & Operations provides leadership and oversight for strategic alignment of Human Resource Technology (which includes human resources information systems, applicant and on-boarding systems, and service delivery within a HR service center model). This position is responsible for the coordination, direction and supervision of daily activities that lead the overall design, implementation, communication, administration of the organization's Banner HRIS, project planning and implementation and vendor/contract negotiations and management. In addition, the position ensures that the HR service center operates with a high level of efficiencies that delivers outstanding customer satisfaction levels across the university enterprise.



    • Bachelor’s in business or related field required. MBA or MSA preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Human Resources in a leadership role with 7 years’ experience in each of the following areas: human resource information systems, shared services and project management.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Broad-based and progressivemanagement/operations experience tied to establishing and managing theoperations of a comprehensive shared services center.
    • Advanced projectmanagement experience in handling multiple projects at once with competingpriorities
    • Proficientwith analytical and statistical tools and PC programs, including MicrosoftOffice Suite.
    • Ability to think strategically and objectively.
    • Effectivelytranslates data into actionable insights, strategies and plans.
    • Strongverbal and written presentation skills including the ability to communicatecomplex ideas in a simple way and to tailor key messages andpresentation style to multiple audiences.
    • Goaloriented and possesses the ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in anever-changing environment.
