DescriptionThe Dental Hygienist will manage the re-call program, coordinate and schedule treatment and provide clinical dental hygiene services for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Program. Perform other duties as assigned.Registered Dental Hygienist with current Pennsylvania License or ability to obtain PA license and a minimum of three years clinical experience including some experience with managing a clinical practice and working with a computerized Dental Clinic Management System. X-ray certified. Current CPR and BLS certification. Bachelor’s degree and experience managing large office / clinic preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of oral hygiene care. Must be cognizant of the public, social and economic factors which impact the overall health of the patients. Prior experience working with a computerized Dental Clinic Management System. Extreme attention to detail as well as confidentiality. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and external customers. Self-motivated. Solid time management and organizational skills. Excellent work ethic and energy level. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. This position requires a background check.
