This position is a temporary, hourly position, for work for the Mathematics Tutoring Center.

The Mathematics Tutoring Center at Western Carolina University is looking to fill a temporary, part-time position for an MCAT Review Facilitator. The position will be primarily for assisting students with preparing for the MCAT exam.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, familiarity of MCAT test, familiarity with each section of the MCAT, ability to facilitate active, collaborative environments for students to engage with and learn material as appropriate for preparing for the MCAT.

Minimum Qualifications

The competitive applicant will have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences related field and at least a level 1 CRLA ITT certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience tutoring at WCU or a regionally accredited university or college is preferred.
