Department The College of Fine Arts is seeking a part-time Information Technology (IT) Technician. Troubleshoot computer hardware and software related issues.

Perform peripherals installation and troubleshooting.

Effectively communicate with diverse user groups of differing skill levels regarding various services.

Assist with inventory of all technical equipment and software licenses.

Assists IT team with departmental operations to include special projects and other duties as assigned.Qualifications This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience.

Valid driver's license must be maintained for the duration of employment.

Ability to lift/move equipment as needed.

Proficiency with Windows 10 and Macintosh OS X.

Ability to facilitate computer setup, installations, and upgrades.

Experience with computer deployment and imaging of machines.

Very capable with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Ability to meet deadlines.Preferred The ideal candidate will:

Be self-motivated and able to work independently in a project-based environment.

Remain detail-oriented and organized.Other Information This is an on-campus position and will not be working remotely.Anticipated Salary Range $12 - $14 hourly, commensurate with experience.Pay Plan This is an OPS/temporary Job.Schedule 20 hours per week between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
