Translates customer needs, ensuring appropriate submission and accurate completion of all requests that are received into appropriate workflows. Support ranges from providing general information and assistance with submissions to technical troubleshooting including detailed desktop, application, networking, account management, login issues, and email. Requests are fulfilled or routed to appropriate IT provider groups according to specified guidelines using appropriate systems.

Participates in training/testing initiatives related to new releases and/or changes to services and systems through collaboration with IT Provider Groups. Assists with testing, troubleshooting, and documentation to incorporate into Computer Support Daily operations.

Frequently moves IT equipment weighing up to 35 lbs between the computer support office and various service locations. Frequently positions self to maintain computers in offices, including under desks and in storage closets. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.

Other duties and special projects may be assigned as necessary. Collaborates with all areas of Enrollment Management in a team approach to provide depth of coverage.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ideal candidates should have experience speaking to customers on the phones, via chat, and email daily.

Candidates should be able to multi-task effectively in their work environment alone, but also while working as a team.

Candidates must have the ability to write procedures and work in multiple ticketing systems effectively.

Candidate must be detail oriented. Must have an understanding of how computers operate and be able to do daily computer-oriented duties and update and create documents in multiple platforms.

Candidate must be able to read/write/understand procedures that are implemented daily.

Experience and knowledge in communicating effectively and customer service.

Experience maintaining effective working relationships. Experience utilizing technical and problem solving skills.

Knowledge and experience in standard concepts, practices, and procedures for computer support.

Knowledge of computer operations, functions, and related peripherals.

Experience training others in the use of computers. Experience in resolving customer complaints via telephone and email. Experience prioritizing, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.Preferred Experience discussing technical subjects effectively verbally and in writing.

Experience with Drupal or other Content Management Systems.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, Python, Javascript, and/or other programming languages.

Experience with Command Line Interfaces in Windows and Linux operating systems.
