The position will closely supervise their team and ensure all phases of the project, as required by the Florida State University Institutional Board, are in compliance with protections of human subjects. The position requires frequent travel within communities and to project sites and a flexible schedule.
Maintains appropriate record keeping and organization of all interview data, including data entry. Assists with preparation of other clinical and administrative reports as needed. Closely tracks and maintains contact with study participants. identify problems and/or inconsistencies with data collection; and monitor study participants' progress to include documentation and reporting of adverse events. Observes, identifies, and does other duties as assigned for what is needed to move the project forward in a way that best represents IJRD.
Leads the development and implementation of study and practice protocol within their team location. Ensures compliance with guidelines and requirements of the Florida State University Institutional Review Board. Manages the day to day operations of the site team. Manages equipment inventory, operational supplies, and purchasing cards including keeping detailed records and receipts for the site.
Maintains and coordinates the team calendar for time- off requests and collaborates on scheduling visits with study and project sites. Assists with hiring processes and team member training. Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks. Uses team coaching, empowerment, trust, and other strategies as appropriate to develop and motivate team members. Conducts and reports FSU performance evaluations on schedule. Develops and ensure high quality masters level student internships and directly supervise students when needed. Establishes and maintains relationships with criminal justice stakeholders and other community partners critical to the implementation of the project.Qualifications Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related counseling field and two years of experience
Prior research related program/project management experience.
Must be able to work independently while collaborating with a larger team.
Must maintain ability to pass security clearance within correctional institutions.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Great attention to detail.
Able to work independently on tasks.
A valid US driver's licensePreferred High levels of familiarity and/or experience in working with criminal justice-involved populations.
Prior experience supervising masters level professionals and students.Pay Plan This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.Soft Money Funded Position This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.Schedule 40 hours per week.
May have to work evenings and weekends.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
