Duties/Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

Work with the Creative Services Manager, full-time Graphic Designer, web and social media Content Manager, and other creative team members to produce videos for social media, web, and email marketing.

Shoot footage as directed, upload shot footage, organize on a server, and tag with metadata information. May be assigned to shoot b-roll footage of Auxiliary staff, locations, events, ceremonies, promotional content and campus scenery.

Act as a production assistant during high-level marketing shoots.
Organize and prepare video equipment for shoots, and maintain and organize the storage room.

The Student Videographer will assist in all areas of video production within Auxiliary Services’ Marketing & Communications division.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in PositionKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Ability to independently conceptualize, produce, shoot, and edit original, branded content for the Auxiliary Services’ units online distribution platforms. Should be able to add chyrons, captions, and other design elements as needed.
Knowledge and experience with cameras, lighting equipment, Adobe Premiere Pro and Creative Suite are needed.
