The Department of Psychology at Princeton University invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin in September 2021. Area of specialization is open across cognitive, social, and developmental psychology. Research topics could include (but are by no means limited to) the following: computational modeling, cross-cultural research, decision-making, diversity, emotion, identity, inequality, language, learning and change, naturalistic social interaction, perception, and relationships. The successful applicant must have an active program of research and be prepared to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology. PhD expected. The Department values diversity among its faculty, embraces inclusivity and difference in the pursuit of knowledge, and strongly encourages applications from individuals who identify as members of groups that are underrepresented in science. Applicants are required to include a description of how they would foster an inclusive environment and attract and retain diverse students and trainees.
