The Department of Comparative Literature at UCLA is seeking a Lecturer to teach one course in Israeli literature during the Winter 2021 academic quarter, beginning January 1, 2021. The department is looking for a candidate with experience in contemporary Hebrew and Arabic cultures. Knowledge of Middle Eastern cinema(s) is preferred, but not required. Applicants must have demonstrable excellence in teaching at the university level, and must hold a PhD degree in Literary Studies or a related field.
