Research Associate positions are open at the Department of Pharmacology and Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute, Boston University School of Medicine for recent Ph.D. graduates with a metabolic or immunologic research background. The interests of the research group are focused on understanding the metabolic regulation of hematopoiesis, systemic inflammation related to obesity, fatty liver diseases, vascular damage, and insulin resistance. We are looking for a motivated young scientist and team player to join the group. Experience with immunology, transcriptional regulation, metabolic signaling, liver and vascular biology would be preferred.

Required Skills

We are searching for a biological scientist with Master's or Ph.D. degree with experience in metabolic and vascular disease research, molecular biology, immunohistology, and animal studies. The candidate is expected to conduct an NIH-funded research project related to obesity-induced fatty liver diseases and vascular damage.
