The University of North Texas at Dallas Athletics Department is responsible for track and basketball athletics teams, meeting the requirements of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).Position Overview
The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applicants for the part time position of Assistant Cross Country (XC) & Track Coach.
The University – the first four-year public institution of higher education in Dallas – seeks an individual who will assist the head coach in leading the XC and Track teams. Position will require hands-on coaching, as well as some travel.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3 -5 years experienceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young people, preparing them for success in life as well as athletically.Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a Cross Country and/or Track athlete at the high school and/or AAU and/or, preferably, the intercollegiate level.
Coaching Cross Country and/or Track at the high school and/or AAU and/or intercollegiate level.Required License / Registration / CertificationWork Schedule
