The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Student Research Assistant (Mathematics) on the Gainesville campus. The Gateway to College: Math course redesign committee is seeking the appointment of two Student Researchg Assisstants to help the committe do some statistical data analysis, run codes with large set of data and do pedagogical research and finally draft the redesigned course.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

The Student Research Assistant (Mathematics) will:

  • Attend G2C Meetings, take notes, write meeting minutes.
  • Complete bookkeeping
  • Complete data Analytics
  • Produce Literature

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must have prior knowledge of basic stochastic techniques.
Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
  • Prior research experience is prefeered.
