The successful candidate is expected to begin on Jan. 01, 2021.

- Teaching 15 credit hours of courses per semester including introductory biology sequences for majors and non-majors, and possibly upper level biology courses in their fields
- Advising students
- Engaging in scholarly activities
- Participation in service to Department, University, and community Training and Experience: - A master's or PhD (preferred) in biological sciences or closely related areas
- The candidates' areas are open. Background in Biotechnology, Public Health, or Botany is a plus but not necessary.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching traditionally underrepresented students Testing Requirements:Illustrative Examples of Work: The successful candidate will report to the Department chair. He or she will teach introductory biology sequences for majors and non-majors, and possibly upper level biology courses in their fields. He or she will advise students and engage in scholarly activities. In addition, participation in service to Department, University, and community will be required.
