Various customer service responsibilities including answering phones, responding to emails and in-person office visits
Data entry and analysis
General office duties including scanning and uploading files
Cashiering and cash handling duties including processing student fee payments, balancing daily collections, processing petty cash payouts, and assisting with the technology checkout process
Working in various Housing computer applications to perform administrative tasks
Record upkeep and complianceQualifications High school diploma/equivalent.

Candidates must be able to proactively provide excellent customer service to include interacting with students/families or potential students/families over the phone, via email and in person.

Strong attention to detail and ability to enter data with a high level of accuracy.

Office Assistants must maintain a cumulative 2.5 undergraduate or 3.0 graduate GPA.

All students who become top candidates for this opening must be in good conduct standing with the University.Preferred Previous office and/or cash handling experience.Other Information University Housing operates on a 12-month calendar. Office Assistants should be prepared to work finals weeks, between sessions and during breaks. Additionally, Office Assistants may not work more than a total of 40 hours per week, in combination with any other University-related employment and may not be employed within any other department of University Housing.

If selected, applicants must complete a screening interview and provide one (1) reference check.Anticipated Salary Range $9.15 per hourPay Plan This is an OPS/temporary Job.Schedule Hours are flexible, but all Office Assistants should plan to work a minimum of 10-15 hours between 8am-5pm M-F.
