DescriptionThe COAS, Biology Department is seeking to hire an Research Scientist I.  The scope of responsibilities for this position include these essential duties, but is not limited to, the following,

  • Performing/overseeing research focused on identifying molecular determinants of breast cancer disparity, underlying mechanisms as well as prognostic, predictive and therapeutic targets using in vitro and in vivo (animals- genetic, xenograft, PDX models) and ex vivo (organoids) models. Conversant with handling sequencing (RNA seq, WES, ancestry) data and working in large transdisciplinary teams  

  • Mentoring Graduate students

  • Assisting PI in manuscript and grant writing



QualificationsPh.D. and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
