EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HLAMP
Under general supervision directs and coordinates activities for the Houston Louis Stokes STEMP Pathways and Research Alliance, which is a multi-institutional NSF, sponsored programs to increase numbers of baccalaureate degrees granted to underrepresented minorities in science, mathematics, engineering and technology in the greater Houston and San Marco areas.
This is a Grant Funded position.Essential Duties Summary
•Directs and coordinates program activities, personally or through subordinate personnel.
•Directs administration of program budgets and oversees preparation of program reports.
•Directs the documentation, evaluation and dissemination of program outcomes.
•Maintains communications among institutions and committees and coordinates multi-institutional discussions.
•Oversees the administration of student recruitment initiatives alliance wide.
•Coordinates fundraising activities for the program, which includes solicitation of contributions.
•Promotes the program with the local school districts, university faculty, corporate and institutional media representative, and the public.
•Attends all meetings of the inter-institutional Starring Committee and Governing Board.
•Directs development and maintenance of program database, website and Learning Information Centers at each institution.
•Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree (general business management) or higher preferred.
Master’s Degree also preferred.Required Licensing/Certification
