Position Summary:

The Information Systems Analyst is responsible for coordinating and directing technical systems and staff

This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, manage and reporting for all ADHE Programs
  • Process all institutional scholarships’ automation procedures
  • Supervision and reconciliation of Federal Direct Loan Program
  • Provide technical support for Financial Aid, Scholarships and recruitment divisions
  • Monitoring exemptions, third party billing and rectifying over awards
  • Create reports and population selections from Banner
  • Produce statistical data for all programs
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
Knowledge of operating procedures for technical equipment and systems including office hardware and software
Knowledge of basic programming logic (SQL) preferred

Experience in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

Ability to analyze existing programs, procedures, and queries in ERP (banner) system
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to assist in maintenance of technical equipment
Ability to assist in technical equipment acquisitions
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Ability to maintain records
Ability to plan, organize and oversee the work of subordinates
Ability to prepare oral and written information

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

Information Systems Analyst will interact with students, staff, parents, and faculty, federal and state agencies

Some travel required for training and/or conferences

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Bachelor's Degree with a major in a technology related field

Three (3) years of experience in related area, including one (1) year in a supervisory capacity
