The Division of Infectious Diseases at The Brody School of Medicine provides state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of infections. Infectious Disease doctors help ensure the timely diagnosis and treatment of acute infections by recommending the appropriate diagnostic tests to identify the source of infections and by recommending the appropriate antibiotic to treat the infection. We are dedicated to the treatment of persons infected with HIV in Eastern North Carolina. Our physicians and physician extenders currently provide care for more than 1,000 patients in our clinic in Greenville as well as another 300 patients in clinics in surrounding counties.
