Job Description:

Function as liaison with COMJ faculty and management and hospital staff and management to better define enhancements in operations and environment to facilitate research activities and projects. Responsible to deliver assessments of current ecosystems with the ability to understand barriers and obstacles to bring solutions and achieve results. Responsible for coordinating activities of different research programs within specific clinical services or areas to further develop or implement existing or new initiatives. Manage resources appropriately for research programs/projects, when appropriate stipulate and organize additional resources and services within AMC for clinical research purposes.

Evaluate potential research opportunities within AMC, building relationships with faculty and staff to coordinate expertise and interests to develop research
programs/projects and produce scholarly accomplishments. Work with the Jacksonville research communities to enhance ongoing collaborations, evaluating the possibilities of involving the Gainesville campus research community and/or facilities and resources. Participate in COMJ and hospital committees/task forces to enrich research capacity and prospects.

Responsible for investigating potential AMC research collaborations with other entities, partnerships with non- profit or for profit organizations and federal, state and local governments. Collaborating with university and university management to organize research initiatives to strengthen the UF Health enterprise programmatically and financially. Providing insights and expertise to coordinate the appropriate teams and resources to implement and execute multicenter/ multidisciplinary clinical research projects to successful outcomes.

Perform other duties as assigned by AMC leadership

Expected Salary:

$68,200, based on education and experience.

Pay Range Based on Market:


Lower reference point: $68,200 Midpoint: $88,600 Upper Reference point: $109,000

Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelors degree in appropriate areas of specialization and two years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in appropriate/specialized area, with at least 3-5 years experience in hospital environment with clinical research experience.Special Instructions to Applicants:
