This position is responsible for preparing and serving out morning and afternoon snacks, as well as serving out the catered lunch items. The position also maintains a clean, sanitary kitchen environment that meets health department safety standards; and coordinates the ordering of materials, supplies, food items, etc needed for the center and classrooms.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
· General knowledge of operations of small scale industrial kitchen.
· Awareness of children’s tastes and incorporating foods into creative dishes that are healthy options.
· Ability to communicate and work well with others.
· Lifting up to 40 lbs.
· Standing for extended periods of time
· Upper body strength
