Avionics Maintenance Technology Adjunct Instructors
The Aeronautical Studies department is seeking adjunct instructors.
These positions require a bachelor's degree in Avionics maintenance or a related area; OR an associate degree in Avionics maintenance or a related area PLUS related work experience. An FAA Airframe certificate as well as an FCC GROL license is also required. Applicants who have not yet completed an associate degree or FAA certificate will be considered but must be willing to obtain the degree and/or certificate.Preferred Qualifications
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in aircraft electronics processes with emphasis given to: aircraft electrical systems, aircraft electronic communication and navigation systems, aircraft radar and pulsed systems, electronic circuit testing and troubleshooting, and knowledge of FCC rules and regulations is essential. Candidates with an NCATT Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) certificate and teaching experience at a post-secondary level is preferred. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.Additional Comments
