The Administrative Coordinator manages all aspects of Academic Programs which include but are not limited to, preparing and maintaining specialized records and reports for entities such as the Board of Trustees (BOT), SC Commission on Higher Education (CHE) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACCOC), managing the academic program proposal tracking system through college, university, state agency, and regional accrediting agency processes. The Academic Coordinator also audits the program inventory database and various other databases, spreadsheets and hard copy files on all academic programs at the University and is responsible for Academic Programs website revisions and maintenance. The Coordinator also manages tasks for student workers for the office, assigning duties, ensuring promptness and approves time worked through the ITAMS system.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities
Thorough command of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Ability to achieve thorough knowledge of University Policies, Procedures and functions. Excellent and effective verbal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to demonstrate high level of organizational skill, to coordinate multiple priorities, and to meet deadlines. Ability to maintain flexibility and professionalism under stress and in the face of constantly changing schedules. Ability to exercise high level of confidentiality and independent initiative and judgment. Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment.
