This Senior Research Scientist will technical research support, data management and analysis, and project management. This position will provide advanced research and technical support including experimental design, execution, troubleshooting and optimization. This position will collect and manage research data, monitor experimental data for accuracy, and perform statistical analyses of data. This position will also assist with the interpretation and presentation of research results and writing research reports, manuscripts and contract/grant proposals. This position will also provide project management including employee training and supervision, coordination of technician responsibilities and activities, resource allocation, and ensure compliance with institutional safety regulations.Educational Requirements
Ph.D. in Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics or other related discipline.Qualifications and Experience
Essential qualifications and experience include, a track record of scientific innovation and experience working with and optimizing animal models.
Preferred qualifications and experience include: graduate research experience including at least one year working in academic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or vaccines industries in a position of scientific project leader and manager of a research program. Experience training and supervising research staff. Scientific productivity and documented evidence of manuscript and grant writing experience. Advanced proficiency with computers and software programs for database management, word processing, and graphics.Equal Opportunity Employer
