The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking an academic Surgical Pathologist for a tenure-track/tenured or fixed-term position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The position will involve diagnostic surgical pathology. The following areas of subspecialty expertise would complement our existing group: ENT/Head and Neck, GI/Liver, Genitourinary, and/or Bone and Soft Tissue. The ideal candidate would have a primary and secondary service assignment. The successful candidate will be eligible for membership in the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Regular opportunities are available for teaching in the School of Medicine and the Graduate School.

Educational Requirements

The applicant must have an MD degree, be board-certified or board eligible in Anatomic Pathology, and be eligible to obtain a medical license in North Carolina.

Qualifications and Experience

Sign-out experience and/or fellowship training in ENT/Head and Neck, GI/Liver, Genitourinary, and/or Bone and Soft Tissue or general Surgical Pathology is strongly preferred.
