Established in 1986, SCC is a public, comprehensive two-year community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields. SCC also provides workforce training and community-based personal and professional development as well as cultural, recreational and entertainment opportunities.We are seeking a part-time, project-based Health Occupations Instructor for the upcoming spring 2021 semester who will instruct high school students in health occupations skills to attain personal and career goals and assist in developing programs that provide opportunities for entry-level employment in healthcare.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Teaches health occupations high school students the necessary skills to attain personal and career goals.Participates in health occupations curriculum development and evaluation.Manages clinical site placement as appropriate for assigned curriculum.Participates in campus and department activities to promote programs and support clinical partnerships.Assists in selection and development of instructional materials for students.Assists program coordinator with planning, developing, and executing programs related to healthcare.Assists program coordinators and instructors to evaluate and guide student progress.
