Physical Requirements

Sitting for long periods, looking at computer screens for long periods, pushing and lifting boxes up to 30 pounds occasionally. Effectively communicating with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varied professional levels.


Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Job Summary

This position oversees the professional development system for Kentucky’s Health Access Nurturing Development Services (HANDS), a home visitation program for families with young children. Duties include planning and implementing training for new home visitors and experienced staff. This position will also work closely with the technical assistants and trainers for HANDS. The oversight of development of online and in-person training is another duty of the position. The successful candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to convey ideas to others effectively, an ability to manage a team effort.

Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience

Masters in Early Childhood, Family Studies, Child Development, Social Work, Nursing, Public Health. Experience in developing and delivering training, work adult learners.

Driver’s license preferred.
